I signed the consent form yesterday to have the entire lap band removed. It was a great feeling. I am mentally and financially done. The band worked, but I have had it unfilled now for over 5 weeks and maintained my weight throughout.
Now Monday afternoon I came down with a stomach virus that was just horrible. I love 10 lbs overnight! What a way to lose it though....
But it is a starting point if I can keep that 10 off it will inspire me once I can exercise again to get the ball rolling on my own.
My next surgery will be very quick and hopefully recovery will be swift! Just three small incisions, pull it out and I am done.
Thanks everyone for listening to me vent about all this. YOU are the only ones who understand what I am going through. Banders UNITE!
